The Farm Chicks ~ Something for Everyone!

This past weekend was The Farm Chicks Show, and as far as I am concerned, they have taken over Ringling Bros title as the

Greatest Show on Earth! 

This is the amazing woman behind the show, Serena Thompson. Don’t let her petite size fool you, she is a powerhouse of a woman. She is also incredibly family oriented, which is so wonderful. In fact, I got to meet many of her family members at the show (that is her adorable son behind us in the photo) including her husband, children and brother and sister in law. They are all so supportive of her endeavours and very down to earth people.

This photo pretty much sums up the show in a nutshell. It is such a festive, fun atmosphere, and everyone embraces The Farm Chick lifestyle by dressing in gleeful attire. I, myself, loving any excuse to dress joyfully, fully took advantage of it this weekend, supporting several outfit changes!

Here is one of my several fashion statements at the show. I wanted to support my friend Cindy in her new venture, Wanderlust, a handmade, couture fashion line she has come up with.

I happily obliged wearing these fabulous fashions!!

Cindy’s fashions weren’t the only statements at the show, almost everyone got into the fashion spirit of the event….

Many booths embraced the traditional roots of the show as well, making there absolutely something for EVERYONE!! From cowgirl boots and farmtiques to industrial finds of unique nature.

 

This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. My friend Jennifer from Funky Junk Jennifer, had a vintage car, chopped in half that she had made this cool seat out of. I wanted it so badly for a photography prop, look how great it is for photo ops!!

 

 

There were other show favorite dealers like Teresa Sheely. This is her fabulous Chanel Painting. Unfortunately I wasn’t quick enough to get it, someone else had already snatched it up, I am not surprised!

One booth always delivers, no matter what show I see them at, and that is John Bob Cool Junk!!

It wasn’t just CHICKS making fashion statements at the show, check out Bob, from RETREAT. Love his chic steam punk look!!!!

Well, that pretty much sums up the show. Great finds, lots of fun and fabulous friends, who could ask for more?????
