For All Who Glitter

For all those who love glitter, there is a place, a place where all things sparkly reside along an unknowing street on the outskirts of this simple town.

A street where most things are of the industrial sort, a shining light glows from the side of the road beckoning you to come inside  and seek your treasure.

Inside this place live two happy girls. The kind you read about in fairy tales, one with shiny, light as sun hair, the other with long flowing locks of red. Here is where they bring their wares of shiny gold and silver, to delight all who enter.

 (Becky, Holly and Me)

There are frocks made of lace, and cakes made of paper. There are ice cream cones that never melt, and everyday feels like your birthday.

In this place, colors make you mysteriously happy, as you float on colors of pink and aqua, then find peace in a corner of white fluff.

It is a magical place, where houses are shrunken in to tiny resemblants and brought within.

Where you feel as if you could easily dwell inside, living by chandelier light and growing flowers atop your living room floor.

A place fit for a Queen, but where every woman can come to feel like one.

Where wishes are made of glitter and frill, with ribbons that string them through the air.

The paper cakes as sweet as any concoction you have ever tasted, and bigger than any other dessert you can imagine.

A lucky girl am I, to have dreamed of such a place and have discovered it in reality. Leaving with a string of wishes and a larger than life ribbon frosted cake from a place called All That Glitter……….

Thank you Holly and Becky for such a magical afternoon, and my very special souvenirs.
