Just checked in and saw the photos you took of the girls. Love them. I wished I had some like that of me and my girlfriend as we were growing up. But back in the 70′s, nobody thought to take photos like that. Kudos to you!

I so adore these girls : ) This was such a special and fun vacation, we laughed until we cried. I love the photos, you are an amazing photographer. When I was growing up, we moved around a lot, as my father was in the Air Force. I didn’t have time to form life-long girlfriend friendships when I was a child.

Thankfully, I had two younger sisters who are close in age, so I had a close relationship to them.

As an adult, I have cultivated “girlfriend” relationships, and have been on many a roadtrip with girlfriends. I love getting away with my best friend.

It looks like the two girls had a blast!
