I recently stumbled across this video. At first I thought it was terrible. Then I thought it was hysterical. Then I thought, wow, what perseverance, this child is admirable. then I laughed hysterically again…………………This video is named “Ed being Naughty”. Here is the payoff. I give you “Ed being Good”.

I loved these vidoes! Laughed so hard I cried. I had a little white POA when I was 4. His name was Devil and he was. I relate completely. Your little Ross is a darling. I had Devil until I was 23 and he was 24. Wonderful memories you have brought back! Thank you some much for sharing and give them both ahug from me:) Jeneal - November 11, 2011 - 3:30 pm
I had to show my girls this we were crackin up! My 10 year old barrell races and she had a pony that hated her and would buck her off all the time thats what it reminded me of. Robin - November 8, 2011 - 5:49 am
Your daughter is a very talented writer!!! I wished to be a barrel racer when I was her age… we just never had the means of purchasing or housing a horse. I’d still love to have one though… I love when Naughty Ed lays down and rolls….. killed me!!! admin - October 28, 2011 - 2:13 pm
I think both Ed and Ross deserve a treat! I can remember having a couple of months when I was a kid that were exactly like this, and all my trainers always told me “you don’t know how to ride until you have fallen off”. Kudos to both ross, ed and you for allowing him to continue his education and ultimately them coming to a have a great horse rider bond! Great videos!! mandy - October 23, 2011 - 4:11 pm
and a big thank you for showing both clips….. its so sad that people only want to watch the naughty one and then leave nasty comments, its nice to see you took the the time and have shown both sides….. i have hours and hours of film of ed being good, and only 3 mins of him being naughty, think it says something…. have never made out ross is the best rider, but he does love horses and he a boy he dont want to look perfect he just wants to have fun…. thanks again…. mandy - October 23, 2011 - 4:07 pm
this is my grandson ross, he is nearly 11yrs old now and is still riding….. he out grew ed, he out grew his next pony pip, he is just getting to know his new pony mopsy…… both ed and pip are just a few miles away with lovely families… ed has never put a foot wrong, and as for pip,he was the nearest thing to perfect if you go on you tube and look for video named ed v’s pip you will see exactly what ed taught ross…… thanks everyone for your kind comments… ross’s grandma mandy xx Q - October 18, 2011 - 2:34 pm
At first I thought the first video should have been called, “Ed just prior to his trip to the glue factory.” The I watched a few minutes of the second and changed my mind. It should be, “Ed getting even with the students who hang on his mouth all day.” GOOD JOB to Ed for his endurance, and GOOD JOB to Ross for fabulous perseverance! cindy craine - October 17, 2011 - 11:38 pm
oops I mean your son!xo-c cindy craine - October 17, 2011 - 11:36 pm
Well I tell ya’ Alpo oh I mean Ed had a sour apple stuck up his behind in the “bad Ed” video. I rode English for three years until my horse threw me into the fence and I said no more! So you’re right the determination and guts it took your daughter to get back on that horse is beyond wonderful! I had to laugh a couple of times until she really hit hard then it brought back memories of the fence, outch! I can’t wait to see photos of Jenn’s event!! I had so much fun, and meeting you was just the cherry on top! You were so much fun and most of all such a talented and sweet soul. I hope to see you again soon. Big hugs from Texas!!!xoxoxo-cindy Anne Cerek - October 12, 2011 - 6:58 am
I don’t know a thing about horses…but this definitely was my laugh for the day! Though I do agree with some of the other posts… thank God he’s little and was relatively close to the ground. That little boy is a trooper!! I think it’s a lesson for all of us, when life knocks you down, you gotta get right back up and show it who’s boss!! Great music too! Christie - October 8, 2011 - 8:35 am
boy that Ed was a real naughtykins. But I must confess I was laughing from the start ;o). Maybe because I used to ride and fell off a lot of horses. Love the payoff. thanks so much for sharing! Suzanne - October 7, 2011 - 8:29 pm
Wow, his perseverance did pay off! yay! Sharon - October 7, 2011 - 12:55 am
I admire the kids perserverence and riding skills, but honestly, what a horrible dangerous little shite of a pony – bolting AND bucking?!! Could they not find a better horse for their child to ride?! (I’ve got kids the same age riding, and have been riding my whole life in western Qld, that is what I base my opinion on!) Jennifer - October 6, 2011 - 2:12 pm
Hilarious video! That is one mean horse when he wants to be. Lindsey - October 4, 2011 - 10:42 pm
Too funny! Unfortunately it brought back some painful childhood memories…Candy was my Ed! What a determined little boy. I mean really, is it time for Ed to retire? I’m just glad he is so close to the ground! kristin - September 28, 2011 - 7:47 pm
oh and chris ledoux makes it all the more amazing!! :0) miss that man….. kristin - September 28, 2011 - 7:39 pm
oh.my. this is PRECIOUS!! those Shetland ponies have quite the attitudes :0) good for ross for dusting off those chaps and climbing back in the saddle!! thanks SO much for sharing…richard is going to *love* seeing this!! xoxox Emily - September 28, 2011 - 6:30 pm
Poor Ross! That video is the reason i will never buy a pony I can’t get on myself for my son…then again he’s only 5 and rides my 15.3 hand high Quarter Horse in schooling shows. Dede Warren - September 28, 2011 - 11:55 am

hi tiffany! i totally agree and have always admired good business cards and saved them. i had a really fun one for myself when i did film and video production — all little illustrations of the many jobs i had to do on sets. right now i’m into moo cards — fun and tiny. i like the postcard idea, too. stay tuned … xo Andrea - September 23, 2011 - 12:31 pm

Thanks for featuring one of my cards! That was actually a 4×6 postcard and not a business card but one of my favorites just the same. My actual business card was shown in Victoria magazine once which was really flattering! Lindsey - September 22, 2011 - 11:14 am

I loved your interview there, Tiffany! I left a long comment on the post but it’s still sitting in moderation. You are SUCH an inspiration to me. I love how you said self-taught, but well-taught, so to speak. You took your time, you learned, you did things right. And I love how you said don’t half ass things and be ready to take it seriously…and that you took a year before you opened your biz. I feel like I am in a very similar position to where you probably were in 2008ish if you said you started your biz in 2009 I would love to learn from you, and soak up all your wisdom! I put you in my google reader and will be stalking your archives now… tara - September 15, 2011 - 9:32 am
