I love the fridge! Years ago my husband and I were driving the back roads and on our way home decided to stop at the dumpsters provided in rural areas in our “neck of the woods”. There sitting along side the dumpster was this little beauty of a fridge, probably 1945 vintage. There was a large piece of cardboard carefully covering the top of it. I walked over and opened the door and there was a note, written by someone whose hand was old and shakey. The note (committed to memory now) said, “If you decide to keep this little fridge, let it stand upright for 24 hours before you plug it in. It runs beautifully.” coley - January 21, 2011 - 6:52 pm
shut up! that pink beauty was on the side of the road for $100??!?! that is ah.some. i love it. and i love dear husbands who love w.h.i.d. Kim@Starry Sky Ranch - January 20, 2011 - 3:08 am

o.k, Rose Brier Studio - January 12, 2011 - 12:42 am
Oh My Gosh, how could you NOT pick this up. Yes it’s heavy, but a pink refrigerator is so fabulous. Maybe if you let him know that you will be able to sell it for a hefty profit (perhaps as hefty as the refrig itself?) this would help him see you as brilliant and not harebrained? You don’t have to tell him you will NEVER sell! Really great find Tiffany. Donna - January 11, 2011 - 7:43 pm
Well W.H.I.D be damned…that has to be the best free roadside find ever!!! I mean EVER!!! You hit the jackpot baby! I would not have been able to contain myself. I think I would have had to camp out beside that pink beauty until I had help loading it. I would have been afraid that someone else would come along and try to scoop my find before I got back to load her up. Congrats on finding such a treasure. Erica Cooper - January 11, 2011 - 5:05 pm
You are hilarious… I love it. I think I could really use this little blue pill this week. I opened up a can of worms yesterday and it would really come in handy today. Kana - January 11, 2011 - 4:05 pm

It doesn’t match my kitchen at all, it is all creams and wood tones. My original intent was to have it outside my house to keep my overabundance of eggs in, but alas, when I found out it was not working and was going to be a fortune to fix, the office idea came to mind!
