wonderful photos Tiffany – just as you predicted, I LOVE THEM! okay, here’s my take on what is going on:

My name is Elsie and my job calls for me to be creative and intuitive. I’ve been watching my latest mark over the last few weeks and finally figured out a way to finish out my latest paying gig.

See he works for the railroad company repairing the tracks, testing RR crossing signs, etc. I’ve been studying his schedule and knew he’d be been in this area today. While bidding my time, I took self portraits on the tracks until I saw his truck approaching (yeah , I do stuff like that).

Quickly I donned the heavy chains to complete my damsel in distress act. I saw him approaching with alarm in his eyes. Are you alright, miss? He reached down to remove the chains when I sprang into action and delivered my line: “by the state of Washington, consider yourself served with this subpoena”. I dusted myself off and walk away. Another job well done.

Who put me on these tracks all tied up with chains …. what could I have ever done to put me in this predicament . . .
The women’s temperance ledge? …. I didnt think they would mind that I added some rot-gut whiskey to the punch . . just for taste . . it was just a jigger !!!
The Indians . . . I thought the class on making wind chimes out of beavers teeth went well !!!
Miss Kitty ? . . . it was easy to lure Matt away . . he’d only been waiting for some sort of affection for . . well . . toooo long !!!
Mo matter . . . . I’M the hero that I’m waiting for … you just wait – n – see !!!!!!!!

She’s sayin’, “Well, darn tootin’, where is that Lara girl that was supposed to be here? Why is she not on this fabulous walk-about?”

So sad I missed this day. Tell me there will be others.

He watched as she struggled to free herself from the railroad ties,and could see the fear as she heard the whissle blow. His fist tightened while he was spellbound and could not look away. She was so beautiful that his heart seemed to stop in his chest. The pleading in her eyes yet he could not help in any way. She was free and running away,when a smile seemed to release the tenion in his chissled face. The lights came up and the audience applauded. He started to stand ,then looked down to the raven haired beauty that was his wife, rise to her addoring fans with a glowing smile on her face . The premier had gone well to his new movie with his wife in the lead. Kathy

Kate chose this place to free herself of the chains that she had allowed others to place on her, chains that had restricted her wildflower ways, as if to pull it out from the very root. Chains that kept her from living in the realm of possibilities and promise, they accused her of being a dreamer, as if being a dreamer was something bad. She had bought into that story for a while, succumbing to the belief that one could not be a good wife, mom and a dreamer, after all why would they, those that claimed to love her, tell her that if it weren’t true? But today, the question that resounded louder than any other was, “Why would she have gone along with that?” She struggled to find an answer that would calm her. Was it youth, a desire to please, or to be considered normal? None of answers seemed to matter for today it all was about to change, her soul cried out to be set free. She was reclaiming all that she was, and all that she was created be. Let them think whatever they wanted. Whatever they needed, but this was her “Coming Out Party,” even if it were a party for one.
Her mind raced with excitement as she fixed the kids’ breakfast, got them dressed and onto the school bus. Her heart sang as she pulled her favorite party dress from the closet, it had been way to long since she had had a reason to wear one. As she dug through the closet looking for her, “going to town boots”, her eyes caught her grandfather’s top hat… he, had been a dreamer too. As a little girl she had so loved that about him. Why had she forgotten that? It was in that moment her eyes welled up and she could hear him once more tell her to listen to her own heart, and she did. With his top hat in hand, she made her way to the tracks, today was the day this little wildflower was going to take root, leave all the would-a, should-a, could-a’s behind and catch a ride on destiny.
It was on the tracks, that she would chose to lay it down. For it was here ,every time the train whistle blew in the distance that, the wildflower in her, the one buried beneath the chores, would awaken , if for only a moment and her mind would wander to all the destinations she has never gone and all the people she had never met. The tracks were also a symbol of the journey she had been on, an internal journey, one that has shown her that it is a terrible thing when the soul is held captive even when done so in love and it was here, on the tracks that a lifetime of creativity and passion were released. She had broken free.

Crack! The horsewhip snapped the silence of the night. “Can’t Catch Me” Kate flew through the town with a bag full of jewels after leaving a note on the bedside table of Sam Malone. “Dearest Sam, you have my heart but I must go. When morning comes they will find an empty safe and this feather of mine. I am on a mission ~ these jewels will pay for my brother’s freedom from the evil hand of Mirax “The Mad”.
Mirax “The Mad” caught up with her too soon. There would be no freedom, only doom. He tricked her into giving him the jewels and her fate was now resting on the steely, cold train tracks.
The pounding of hoof beats, the look of surprise, her hero had come to vanquish her impending demise. Slicing through the ropes and slinging her onto the horse’s back, Sam dashed off with his love at his side. Mirax “The Mad” was shaking his fist while a soft feather floated to his feet. “Can’t Catch Me” Kate left him that feather you see. She would return to vanquish her brother. But for now, he heard her calling “You can’t catch ME!”.
