Oh my gosh – I LOVE the jingle – very Brady Bunch! Yes, I had a great time and still smile to myself when I think of the drive. While we have a great story, I think it was the Kansas State Ranger that has the story…can you imagine…back at the station…he is telling the fellas: “I was gasing up the station and this car load of laughing dingbats drove up out of no where actually thinking they were still in Oklahoma and not a one of them ever noticed they crossed the state line…” Had lots of fun! Reading your blog reminded me of what great memories we had from last year. I remember that heart stopping moment when Lexi fell off. I thought she gotten thrown into the wall! She brushed herself off and got right back on like a true champion, unfazed by her experience like it was no big deal. She will always have the best moments from her youth captured in your beautiful art. Time does go by way too fast but with your vivid portraiture you will always be able to go back. Yikes!!! Great shots, steady hand for a scared mom, wow. They are their own people. Looks like she sure knows who she is though, has quite a journey ahead. My daughter Lilli has said “I’m not like you mom!” a few times. She’ll be leaving home soon, she is an amazing young woman. Ah yes, how well I know about the years passing AND the sports these beautiful young ladies indulge in! My niece grew up overnight and I often think, ‘what happened’?!? Did I nod off for a time and miss it?!?! And her passion is also horses! She has a mustang named Cowboy and they too make a wonderful team! YOU could NEVER deny that child Momma!!!! She looks so much like you!!!! So pretty but, just 15 going on 30. I’d worry too!!! ADORABLE. You should be proud for sure. And her horse… Lady, I had a horse once (many years ago) & her name was Lady. SHE WASN’T ONE!!!! I am so excited because I leave for LA SOON & get to see a number of the girls that were at Petticoats & Parasols. Cynthia is picking Cathy Scalise & I up at the airport & we’re gonna hang out. And of course Jenn will be there as well as a couple of other Belles. I am looking forward to it because life has been kind of stinky here since we just found out Hubby has to have open heart surgery & I figure this will be my last creative chance to “fill my cup” until it’s all fixed.
