My factory assembly line isn't in a dilapidated warehouse on the docks, or in a third world country with underpaid laborers, but fortunately in my shabby studio. Where I can happily toil away, covered in glitter and lace. Where I can create until my heart's content, oblivious to the struggling world outside my...

I agree! I once said on my own blog…if everyone (each head of state, each dictator, each decision-maker) was forced to sit down together and knit a cap for someone in need, to bring warmth and concern and care? The world would finally be at peace. Tiffany ~Shabby Scraps - November 8, 2009 - 10:36 am

I have a small amount of glass glitter…I like your plan. hmmmm…what to glitter??? Star's Fault Vintage Art & Design - November 7, 2009 - 8:47 am
LOVING the pink crepe paper ruffle with the glitter int he center. Yesterday, at the holiday open house for my favorite antique shop, I saw an old pair of high heels glittered in really fine German glass glitter. They were a tiny size, and the maker had added some vintage ribbon and old earrings as embellishments to the toe of the shoe, another ribbon on the heel to hang them. Gorgeous! I’m off to look for something similar to glitter myself! I mean, the shoes… well, yes, I will probably get glitter on me too!! Star's Fault Vintage Art & Design - November 7, 2009 - 8:47 am

Hello Tiffany, The ladies at whimsical whites vote for. “Quack Quack MOO” Our favorite children’s book.Kathy,Kris and Simmy Amada Lebel - November 6, 2009 - 9:02 am
The puppies are so cute. Dazy looks like she is loving motherhood. How lucky you all are – babies of all types are blessings directly from heaven. I am big on biblical names for all my pets so going to my bible I could only find one “Q” name, but it’s a good one. Ready… “Quartus” it means fourth and sounds very male. Dawn - November 6, 2009 - 6:20 am
Have you ever read “The Cat Who…” Mysteries by Lillian Jackson Braun? The main character is a guy who is a journalist and an heir to a multimillion dollar estate. His name is Quilleran, called Quill or Mr. Q for short. drichards01@juno.com - November 5, 2009 - 9:44 pm
Oooooh! I bet you cant’ get enough snuggles in!! I was going to say Quinlan, but it doesn’t seem so original!! I really liked the idea above for Quin’que. Have fun! Caitlin - November 5, 2009 - 3:05 pm
My bernese mountain dog was from a “q” litter too! Her registered name was Quintessentially Liesl. We figured since it meant she was pure and concentrated essence of a substance it kinda worked. We called her Liesl in everyday life though. Naomi Vela - November 5, 2009 - 1:06 pm
I haven’t read everyone else’s responses…but what about Quilters Larrikin (quilter for short) or Quinlan….I just googled to check for any others and got too overwhelmed with the list that came up, so will just put those two on here. Even though they can be a bit slobbery….I love St Bernards. Michelle - November 5, 2009 - 12:28 am

They are darling…!!! Here are some ideas…. Quiche (sorry I’m hungry!), or Quasi (Notre-Dame in my mind…), or what about Quarta (fourth in spanish and portuguese) or Quinta (fifth), if you remember the order in which they were born… For a boy it would be Quarto or Quinto…. Hope this helps!!! Mary - November 2, 2009 - 2:29 pm
