Hi Tiffany;
A friend presented me with a copy of winter issue “Artful Blogging” (a publication I was unaware of) for the holidays. Such inspiration, you especially. While skimming through up came “Nadia”, so the first thing, 5:30am, this morning, here I am oooing and aahhing over all the lovely ladies. My lady is in the master bedroom covered with scarfs and a “My Fair Lady” hat made by me. To date she has not had a name, but will after today. Her place of origin, Marshall Fields stores in Chicago many years ago, she has a bustle shape. Your blog has also inspired me to get out the Chanukah decorations and make the house all blue and silver. Blogging is new to me, a whole new world is has opened up. I found an old dress form at a yard sale and as soon as I saw it I became calmly excited since I have seen these dressed up on other blogs. She didn’t have a price tag on her so I asked how much for the dress form and she said $1…and then she said in fact, I’ll pay you a dollar to take it away! So I gladly paid the $1…. I’d love for someone to come over to my blog and let me know if they can put an age or value to it? I think I need to step up my search for some vintage clothes after viewing all the lovely dress forms I saw today.

Although I do not YET have a dress form and could not participate, this is truly the funniest and most enjoyable blogathon I have seen. I have been going through each post just cracking up at these members of the family. I am sure your hubby is a wise man and can now see how important Nadia is to the completion of your family! My hubby is into old cars…he talks to them, so how “interesting” is that? And they always look the same, Nadia is a fashion statement ready to be seen! Thank you so much for such a fun morning!!

What a fun idea, I didn’t realize there were so many dress form collectors! I’d collect dress forms if I had a place for them! I heard about this great carnival from Jan & Tom’s place! I’m off to check out some others.

I was over at Polly’s and ended up here. I absolutely love your charming blog and am so sorry I missed the sign ups for the “show me your form” day. I would have loved to join in but another time I guess. I laughed so hard at your post when you and DH went to pick up Nadine. That same conversation could easily have happened in our car. I can’t believe I didn’t get to meet you at the Barn House sale. I was there from 8:30 am to about 12:30pm, just shopping and judging the bake off/chili cookoff.
